I will be giving two presentations at the PACE 2019 one-day Research Symposium co-hosted by the McNally Project. The first, is a poster presentation of a narrative review my team and I completed of the paramedic mental health literature. Titled What Are(n't) We Talking About, my presentation synthesizes our current understanding of paramedic mental health in Canada and highlights several important gaps and areas for future research. The second presentation is an oral presentation titled Unpacking the Sociocultural Characteristics of Paramedic Mental Health: a Grounded Theory Study. This presentation showcases the preliminary results from my ongoing work exploring the social and cultural determinants of paramedic mental health and is the first time our findings are being presented.
